I'm a photographer from Chicago. I specialize in creative fine art portraits and wedding photography that is intimate and candid. I give you explosions of happiness and color all over your memories. 

When I'm not acting as the photographer, bookkeeper, marketing executive, social media manager or customer service representative behind Samantha Alvarado Photography, you can likely find me spending quality time with my family, reading a book or enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine with a friend.

Born and raised in Chicago, it took 35 years to learn that what I was most passionate about was something I'd explore on my own outside of any classroom.  I fell in love with photography and capturing life's precious moments and being able to freeze memories in time. The ability to relive a moment through a photograph brings me so much joy and being able to provide that to others, it's truly indescribable.
